too heavy of a bet on the turn? or is it right to scare him away there..i really have no idea if he was chasing a straight, flush, or had something like KJ or KT possibly

    Wastin' away again in margaritaville....
On the turn I lower my bet to 2/3 of the pot since it is just as appropriate to protect against almost any draw and will tempt a good number of drawers into calling.

I'd go the full pot size (as you did) to protect my hand.

I don't see a big misplay here. He has a good hand, not a great hand.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

In a tournament, or SnG, I totally agree. Never is the right word. But in a ring game, I think it's OK to do that sometimes. This situaiton was on the cusp of that determination. action, but that move wasn't what lost the hand.

calling is fine in a multiway pot. i would just assume raise to misrepresent the hand, or fold if theres no confidence in postflop skills.

Well its my personal opinion that you should almost never limp preflop period in a NL ring game, but then again I am a very aggressive player.

Yeh, I cant see any point in limping in on the button with everyone folding to you, you should never give the blinds a free ride lol!

I am betting 8 bucks here. Try to induce him in calling or coming over the top. If he folds meh you get $11. Good play.
