First off, I think I would have re-raised him pre-flop, to try and get an idea if your tens are already smoked before you even see another card. He was one off the button after the table folded to him...he could have anything.

But regardless, after just calling his raise pre-flop, i would have raised his flop bet, maybe to $90 or $100. If he called or raised I would probably put him on either JJ or higher, or a flopped boat with 66.

Personally, I think a raise is your only move here...only way to get info on his holdings.

If I reraise pre-flop he will likely call withg holdings like AK JJ or QQ (likely here with a 5x BB PFR), and will reraise with AA and KK.. this doesnt really help me.

True...but I still say raise the flop bet.

I'd fire back a re-raise. If he pushes, I'd put him on QQ-AA and fold. If he calls, I'd put him on a loose (and somewhat stupid) AK or a QQ-AA trying to maximise profit on a raggy board.

Actually, I think I'd just fold to that bet. It smells too much like a high PP.

Is a 5x bet a reasonable PFR? No experience at these limits. In general a big raise like that on the flop means 99, TT, JJ or QQ. Without a read I probably fold that PF and certainly on the flop.

Either re-raise pre flop to see where you stand or fold preflop. Without a read on this guy I would fold it and move on to the next hand. But he might just be using position and the fact that everyone folded before him to take the 6 bucks.

That's just horrible. He's not going to win the pot preflop and he's only going to commit more chips with what is likely the second best hand. Call to set, fold the flop.

Call 20.00 into a 26.00 pot on the 1 in 8 chance he will hit a set ? Throw the hand away if your not going to bet the flop with no overs.

You don't understand anything about implied odds, do you?

After 40k I have 1 unprofitable pair. 66 becuase it refuses to set and win. All other pairs make about 1.25-2.15 bb/hand. And a common strategy of mine is to call 20.00 into a 26.00 pot on the 1 in 8 chance I will spike a set.

    easy fold.

easy call to try and set.

when someone raises hard like that into me preflop when i have QQ to 22 .. i call to catch a set and take homeboys entire stack.

divide the bet by their chip stacks. 20$ / 420$ +

your getting more then 20 to 1 on a 11.5 to 1 to set on the flop.

    not calling is weak.
