Default Party Poker Million Dollar Guaranteed Tournament July 30th

$600+40 buy in, I just qualified by finishing in the top 4 of a $10 qualifier. Any advice for this Million dollar format? It appears you start off with $1500 in chips, payouts start at 150th place? I've done lots of tournaments live and on the net but never one with these type of stakes. I'd love to hear from anyone who's played in this monthly tournament as well as any advice/knowledge on a good strategy, what to expect from my opponents, etc. I've nearly completed Harrington on Hold-em Vol 1 & 2 so I feel that will be a great knowledge assest for this Weekend!

    Thanks!

    himself fucker.
the structure is slower than normal so you can play tighter longer. Pick your spots and try to get the money in when you have a strong hand. Focus on maximizing the pots you are pretty sure you'll win. If you have top set with a flush draw, dont jump the gun AI. Try to suck some chips in.

You got into this tournament for two reasons. You probably caught a few cards/breaks and you have a solid playing style. Just because you're playing a high stake tournament doesn't mean you need to be an entirely different player. Changing styles is probably the worst thing you can do. Stick to your game and adjust in each situation based on your experience. Don't get scared, you'll be more than fine.
