Absolutely. Great play. You want the person to think two pair is good enough to beat a set... you want that all-in EVERY TIME. If he has JJ or KK, pay him off. This guy will play two pair the same as a set.

So do you or do you not think that it is the right play to make a smaller re-raise and rather than to go all-in as soon as he bets the $16?

Isn't it profitable to have him stick around assuming he doesn't re-raise all-in like he did?

smaller reraise. Why would you give him an indication he's beat. If he's willing to call an all in on the flop, he'll be willing to call your bets on later streets, assuming he doesn't reraise all in like he does here.

I disagree. This guy re-raises showing strength and by the large amount he re-raises, he's screaming TPTK or two pair. He's going in no matter what. Why delay it? Just do it on the flop.

Obviously this worked against this guy.. but against a TPTK guy, a smaller re-raise is going to work (to create a nice trap). But a guy who screams I have two pair will push when people push on him

The reason you do this on the flop, is because calling him can indicate a strong draw. The ace on the turn completes a draw. A tight player will slow down fearing that completed draw. In other words you never want to give a confident opponent you're beating on the flop an excuse to not give you money. Allowing a board to coordinate with another card is just that type of excuse.

What if he had KQ? When the A comes the cash cow stops lactating.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
