    Wahoo2006 ?

table was very VERY aggressive. some short stacks were making everyone go nuts (varun). pottoddz was very lag but something to me smelled really fishy about his betting. i don't know why, but just the way he bet that smelled monster considering the way the table had been betting. After he called me on the flop, i was near certain he had aa/kk. but that's just my take, what do you think of the turn and what do you do here?

oh, and as for preflop, i called to initially play for a set. I knew a preflop reraise wouldn't drive either of them out also. I figured i'd wait for a safe flop, hopefully set, and reevaluate.

You've got about $170-180 in the pot and its $55 to call. You've got 11 outs to improve. I don't know if your flush is good, though. You gotta think if potoddz had AA or KK he would have bet the turn so I think he is out of the hand. He may have had AT or KT. There is a chance your QQ is good on their own so lets add up the odds:

    1 in 4 you improve (25%)
    1 in 10 he's bluffing (10%)
1 in 10 you are good with QQ (10%)

I think you are getting odds for this call.

i am wahoo with the qq in the conservatory, but i'm pretty sure you meant to say pottoddz instead of wahoo?

(EDIT: forgot about the shorthanded forum. if someone wants to move it that's fine, if not that's fine too.)

ok, let's say you KNOW that potoddz has aa/kk, not sure on soleil but he's very lag. What do you do now?

ok, i'm going to put the results below.

    Wahoo2006 is all-In.
    pottoddz folds.
    ** Dealing River ** [ Js ]
Wahoo2006 shows [ Qd, Qs ] a pair of queens.
    soleil7 doesn't show [ 3h, 5c ] a pair of fives.
Wahoo2006 wins $34.08 from side pot #1 with a pair of queens.
Wahoo2006 wins $227.14 from the main pot with a pair of queens.

After the hand, pottoddz said more or less, wtf, i folded aa. noobs. then after one more hand he left the room.

Here is my big question about this hand. I was pretty sure I had soleil beat. I was also maybe 70% sure that pottoddz had aa/kk. I figured, if he has aa/kk and i push, maybe he'll fold it. if he doesn't, i could be ahead, or i could be totally screwed. but i think odds are with his check on the turn, he's unsure of his hand. do you like this logic, that there's no way for me to get away from this hand at this point, so i might as well push and figure either i'm ahead in the hand or hope pottoddz will fold a winner? Do you think I can possibly just call this? If i called and pottoddz put me all in i'd have to call, why not just push?

I said fold based that pottoddz would call. You dun tricked me!

If wahoo has u tuff luck, u might still have some live flush cards to draw to, I dont think so though, smells like bluff, so id figure him for beat. With that in mind i would at least call, now since the other guy might have aa/kk, id prolly reraise allin instead, just to make sure hes folding!

    Good play!
