My read was KJ or something like that, Pair and straight draw. Calling stations suk.

First hand. FOLD PRE-FLOP; fold or raise on flop; raise on turn. Most of the time anyone who spends money to get to the river will go to showdown, and even if you did river your queen you still have a very weak hand. In this case, your opponent was weak and it worked out for you. But would you have raised had the river been a rag?

Yea, first hand I wasn't calling thinking I had the best hand. I knew my opponent didn't have the Ace so I was calling so setup a bluff.

Careful now, that's a move better reserved for the MTTs/SnGs. That works completely differently in ring overall
