    You called it

Put your opponent on a hand, and play accordingly. Your opponent is weak or bluffing. Either way your hand is likely to hold up through showdown. maximize value any way possible.

I think you're not asking yourself what your opponent is holding and thinking enough, and then predicting what his reaction will be to a certain action by you. This must also hurt you in the pushing people off hands department, since you seem to be focused too heavily on your own holdings.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I usually let the timer run about half way down and then call. Makes him think you're on a draw and when you check the turn hopefully he tries to bet out with a bigger bet than your draw is worth calling, and you can re-raise here or just call then bet the river. Even from loose opponents, very few hands are calling that big check raise on the flop.

Thanks guys~ Looking at the hand I gotta figure the guy for some unpaired paint w/no jack...just gotta think of that during the hand instead of "omgomgomg I hope he pays me w00t!"

    Whaddya think about this line:
    Hollywood-call the flop
If paint hits on the turn, bet pot, push over reraise
    Otherwise check, fast-call
    Bet strong on river regardless
