I think I made a few mistakes here with A8
After reviewing my hand history, I feel I made a few mistakes here.
This guy was limping a lot of hands once at 9k.
He caught a flush holding 54s to get there.
continued calling 25/40 hands played at the table.
only raised 3 times and it was at the lower limits.
He also bet out of position a few times after just limping hands, stole a few like that.

I figured he may just fold on the 1k raise.
when he called I thought, OK maybe he has a king, hes drawing thin to anything except made hands.
My ace makes be feel better when it hits. OK. If he does have a king I have him beat badly now, and if he did have a made hand like 2 pair off the flop I was still ahead. Wasn't considering a set.. not sure why.
Now the Turn bets.
I really figure i'm ahead at this point and only min - raised thinking I can get more money out of the big stack, I did considered pushing though to take the pot right there.
I really did not expect to get reraised back. I was already thinking i'm getting all my money in on this hand so i continued to press back.
Reading the history makes me think that I should have used my mistake of not pushing after his initial 600 Bet by using the re-arise information to re-evaluate my hand, and probably just call his min raise instead.
Any Thoughts?
Is my thought process right on this one?
