inducing a bluff with an overpair
This is a somewhat standard play for me but I decided to show this to you because we had some discussion about not betting on river in order to induce a bluff against a hand that wouldnt other wise put a dime in to the center. Also if he really had the flush I am saving a lot of money here. I didnt see any reason to bet that river. Looking at the results, I would have bet if I knew his hand. His bet is just ridiculous with a made hand IMO. Worse hands will fold and better hands will call. Text book example here folks.
