I am not an expert but i will give my opnion anyways.

I would say theres a few possibilities.

#1 Hes trying to protect his overpair which would be somewhat weird with his weak pre flop raise, but who knows.

#2 He hit a set but this is also somewhat unlikely since i don't see the point for him to protect his hand so hard on a not scary board. Maybe he might be scared of the flush if hes super paranoid player. I would understand a pot sized bet but why overbet it that hard.

    #3 Hes semi-bluffing AhKh...possible.

#4 Stone cold bluff is very unlikely to me, unless hes huge maniac.

#5 Hes a fish who hits TPGK.

#6 Hes loose agressive and hits 2 pair.

In my opinion the most probable answer might be #2 if hes tight, #3 if hes good, #5 if hes a fish, #6 if hes loose agressive

On a final guess, ill go with the set according to the fact that its 10/25

Lets see pros's answer and see how fishy i am

my take: this hand was my first on the table. I've seen now that this guy is a serious fish, very aggressive but shitty aggressive. SAGGY lol.

I do think he had an overpair though.

If hes loose agressive i see no reason to raise so few pre flop and to make it that obvious. I mean i myself like to play LAG and when i finnaly get a hand its not time to slow down pre flop. And its not time to make them fold on the flop.

With so little invested and facing such a large bet by a then-unknown player, I'd fold without a second thought. Let him come over the top for 4x the pot a couple times then when you do have a hand he'll be pot committed and soon be sliding over his stack to you...

It's not universal, but I've seen a lot of NL$25 players who min-raise AA, KK, and QQ UTG. Then there are also players who min-raise any pocket pair.

If he's super fishy, I'd say he has AA-QQ. If he's less fishy, I'd say he has a set.

Easy fold, at least for me. Find a better spot and take all of his money later. You have so little in the pot why risk it? The only guy that makes that bet there usually has you whipped. If not, so what?

Give him your $2 and take it back later plus some.

I doubled up like through him like 10 mins later

You fold instantly because if he's solid you're beat, and if he's a fish the implied odds on his entire stack just went up.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I'd put good money on him having QQ (most likely) or AA/KK (quite likely). JJ is just about possible but even a maniac would slow play that, surely?
