I should have raised the AJ preflop, I typically do but the villain here was raising alot of marginal hands preflop, I was looking to reraise and put him to a test. He limped behind me. I probably should not have called the raise on the flop, but was curious if he was betting a J with Q or K kicker. When he bet aggressively on the turn I knew I was beat.

I asked him if he had a set or two pair, and he said two pair.

Raise preflop, period. I appreciate you had a bit of a read but with a call of 0.05 to make then you just don't know what you're up against.

I dont really get these micro-stakes... i appreciate that 30 cents is a pot-sized bet on the flop.. .but... is anyone with any part of that flop going to not call you?

I dont know... I think his bet is a bluff. I think he lied about the 2 pair as well.

If someone asks me "what did you have?" i can choose to answer truthfully, ignore them, or make something up.

If someone asks me "a set or 2 pair" i will just pick one!

I think you're giving him waaay too much credit and he had king high or something rubbish like that, but its a complete guess!!!!!!!

    Reraise the flop.

You're not getting odds for the call so its either reraise or fold on the flop. I probably give it one more raise and fold to a show of strength from him. Just folding is ok too I think.
