    Default inducing a bluff

This is how I play against against people who are at least a bit aggressive and when I want to get some room later for free cards. Weak on flop, weak on turn, weak on river. This was a pretty non-scary board to try something like this. I see the river check pretty mandatory.

If you are comfortable with your hand vs. what you think is probably their hand, and you know they are aggressive enough to bet into weakness more often than not, this is a very good play. I use it all the time to get extra $$ out of aggros who would otherwise just fold to my last bet.

Miffed, if you do not understand the river check you should start understanding it. I was representing crap, he didnt have either, if I bet into him he was only going to fold unless he had caught something really good and I didnt think he had stuff like QJ or QT either. He wasnt going to make a re-raise bluff IMO. But he was aggressive enough to bluff when I had shown weakness. Also I wasnt strong enough to CR him.

This is where getting reads comes into play..

    yeah sorry
probably the difference between 50/100nl and the higher lmits.
The problem for me is that being quite aggressive often means opps take the oppertunity to check behind. Id rather value bet here than check it, but obviously i take the point about reads.

    I wish villain had 63s ...

Raise more pre-flop, bet the flop.

It would be nice if you could back up your answers with some reasoning. Why raise more PF, why bet the flop _this_ time.? What do you put him on? I always raise 3x to unopened pot SH, I almost always bet the flop whether I have the cards or not. I want to vary my play, sometimes check with the cards is good to get free cards later when you dont have any cards..

I think most have been said but I rant some anyway. How much to bet preflop with depends alot on the table for me. But I usualy go with 3x on sh table aswell.

Mix the play abit dont hurt. If you never do it, people will see it and counter you.
