    Default QQ - good raise-fold?

100NL at Paradise. Just arrived a few hands ago, so no reads.

1: Is the raise good? I'm thinking this could avoid me getting trapped by AA/KK if rags flop, Would still give me a hard time if called and a K flops for example (an A is easier to fold against).

2: So, I get re-raised. Easy fold? I think so, especially against two opponets. but still , I have the third best pre-flop hand in the game.

(sorry, couldnt get the converter to work)

If the raise is less than $2,5 I almost always re-raise with QQ and AK as well instead of calling.(50NL) Shows me where I am at and stops me from betting into KK/AA at the flop, wich costs me much more. If they just call they usually have AK/QQ too, or a worse hand, and a re-raise usually means they have KK/AA. Then I call for set or fold depending on how big the re-raise is.

I like it. It would take a bad opponent to re-raise you with anything less than KK or AA. Most people won't lay down QQ here, but I like it. There are better spots to get your money in the middle. Good raise and fold. Bravo!
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

I think a pre-flop call here would have cost me more money post-flop unless I hit my set (in which case I'd destack him). It can be hard to fold an overpair on a raggy board. That's why I did not just call it. Also, I would have been in trouble if KK/AA just smooth called my raise.

How should I have played with AK here? KK? I would have had a tough time folding KK here, but I would have a kinda hard time pushing too., afraid of aces. Weak thinking? Guess I'd pay any aces off.

    Results: (in white)

crampt0n lost $32.75 [ Jc Ac ] (AJ nooo good. Short stack getting tired?)
    Sammy_14 bet collected $76 [ Ad Ah ]
    sandstorm33 lost $10.50 (folded) [ Qc Qh ]
