Man, you gotta hate that turn/river combo, 'cause I'd think AQ or AJ are the only hands calling you on the flop. At best you're tieing AK, and I doubt you're ahead of AT. Not to mention being way behind an idiot flush chaser...

Can you afford to slow down at the Turn and throw a defensive prob bet?

Well, you really shouldn't be acting so aggressively UTG.

You have to ask yourself what you're trying to accomplish with your big preflop raise. Are you trying to take it down right there with a limp check-raise? If so why? Is it worth it? Are you seeking isolation? You'll only isolate someone with position on you postflop.

Don't miss my point. Anything you do preflop in terms of aggression can be justified by your holding. It's very strong. What I'm really saying is that postflop is a whole new ballgame. You have to understand the nature of your situation.

I'll tell you exactly what to do when you're out of position. You have to be a little more tight passive postflop. Be more willing to allow someone to draw for a little over the right price. Don't try to push people around if you think they're drawing. Do more value betting. Seek more cheap showdowns. Position is everything. It allows you to go deep after the flop more often without getting burnt. Don't forget that.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

You don't like to reraise the rediculous min-raise preflop? You get them to tell you more about their hand and possibly isolate. If they reraise your raise, then you know they have AA/KK/QQ. If they just call, usually they have something less (usually is the key word). There's little chance AQ folds this hand on the flop. And there is zero chance they fold once the turn hits. This is a tough board.

I don't get fancy out of position with AKo. That's just me. To each their own. I do see people over repping AK preflop like this, and sometimes it works out. AK can be difficult to play, because you want to play fast when an A or K flops.

The way I handle AK out of position postflop, is I do a lot of value betting against one opponent. I bet enough to not look weak, so that a raise back at me is considered legitimate, but I'm careful not to committ myself. I just don't like putting a lot of money in on one pair unless I can pinpoint the hand I'm against.
