I want to have some discussion about setting a goal for the year. Is it necessary? if it is, how should the goal be determined?

I have a similar question, which is: is it worth the hobby player, who can't (and won't) guarantee a certain amount of time to be given over to poker, to set targets or goals? |

Here is an easy way: Check your bb/100 winnings. Determine how much time you have to play. Determine how many hands you play per hour. So 100 hands an hour at 10bb/100 for 20hours a week = 200bb/week. |

What stakes do you play? Are you willing to move up / increase the amount of time you put into poker? Or do you just want to "estimate" what a logic goal would be at with your current circumstances? | |
