Operation grind fpp donkaments for rakeback
This is a mini operation on Pokerstars.
I was up to about 36k fpps and was figuring out what to do with them. I thought about waiting for 50k to get the $650 bonus, but decided I would look for a more lucrative way to spend them.
I heard that grinding the 5400 Sunday million qualifier on Pokerstars was soft, but was afraid I might run bad and blow through 36k and get little or no return on my money.
So I tried to find a way to offset the variance. I saw that there are some Sunday Hundred grand qualifiers for as low as 70fpp buy-in. I did the math and saw that even if you win 1/10 its still better money than getting the bonus. However, the time spent grinding them could be time spent accumulating more dough and fpps.
So at what rakeback % does it become smart to grind these minis? That is what I am exploring with this mini op. I waiting until I grinded 100 sngs before I posted this. It took me 2 days grinding 10 at the time. Here are my initial results:

$231 made and it took 7k fpps. Or .033 per fpp. You get .013 by buying the 50k bonus. That's 2.5x better grinding the sngs.
Any math people want to figure this out for me? If it takes me 71 hours to grind off 50k fpps and I end up making $1,650vs$650, is it a good proposition? I guess I would have to make $14 an hour to make up the difference if I used the latter. AND I would accumulate around 7k more fpps in the process, or about $90 more.
The only good thing is, there is no variance during all of this. Your bankroll will not dip and you will safely clear all of the fpps and wake up to a much better bankroll.
My bankroll is currently about $1,300. If I keep up the current pace, it will be about $2,200 once all of my fpps are spent, solidly rolled for 50nl.
Any comments are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Tj
