You played this hand in reverse. Raise the flop substantially. Slow down on the turn and river. Two pair that doesn't involve top pair is a highly vulnerable hand and outdraws are common - you should protect it up front and if you get someone tagging along (especially more than one player), start thinking about showing it down for cheap.
