Default Sorry for the Newby mistake.

I guess I was a little off my rocker to post all 48 hands. Sorry for that one. I will go though and post only the pertinant ones. I have been going through some of them and replaying using Poker Tracker. I think I am starting to see my issue.

    1. I am falling in love with my hands. Here is an example.
In this hand I think I was chasing the flush.

And in some cases I am playing low ball starting hands. I believe if I fix this it will help my game greatly. I will follow what akrongly says and write each on 100 times. I will let you know what happens.

Preflop, if you are going to reraise with AQ, don't min-raise. That just builds the pot, it doesn't scare anyone away (and doesn't even tell them how big your hand is).

You reraised and then got reraised on top of that...What do you think the other guy could possibily have? He's not doing that with 27o, my guess is a high pocket pair or AK. I'd probably fold AQ to that reraise.

On the flop, he bets huge. You didn't hit, so all you have is ace high and you call? Why? He's already shown you twice that he has a BIG hand, and you just call along.

Terrible play by him by not raising the turn/river, giving you a free chance to hit your ace...

Hopefully some of that helps...I've never played these stakes before, so I'm not sure how great the advice was...GL.

That's a huge reraise to call with AQs preflop. If you hit an Ace do you feel confident you have the best hand? If you hit a Queen in this case, you are toast. Then you call a full pot bet on the flop. You don't have odds to chase here. You could actually steal this pot if you bet high on the turn and rep the straight or a set, but you shouldn't even be in this hand to begin with.

    Thanks,

I really need to work on having a plan. I think I am getting better. But I need to let more go.

Once we get to the flop, I'm pushing on that flop. Although I'd really like to have another $15-$20 to go on top of his $5 continuation bet.

Ok, Thanks for that, I have just one more. On this one I had QQ and took it to the river. But he hit trips. Did I play this correctly? I am kayjun3 here.

    Wrong forum and it's fine.

There is no way to know he hit trips since he ran out of money. Its fine.

You call huge bets preflop with AQ and then only raise to 2xBB with QQ. That's a leak. You are overplaying average hands and underplaying great hands. This is an efficient way to lose money in holdem.

You bet 5c into a 20c flop. Make it 10c minimum. Since he called the flop and the turn introduces a flush and str8 possibility, you have to bet the turn harder - 3/4 pot or more. Once the river comes, there is no reason you should feel behind so no problem there.
