    Default Bet the turn?

Is he on the flush draw or did he just hit his 8? I did see him chase a flush with pretty bad odds when he called 9.50 into a 26$ pot with bottom pair and a flush draw. But that's not necessarily enough to put him on the draw here and not the 8. I'm sure this villain is capable of holding A8 to the flop here. What do you usually do here? Gut feeling on whether to check or bet?

If he's an aggressive player, the flop may have been plain and simple a continuation bet. I'd say you bet the turn, it's hard to believe someone with an 8 would just call the flop, he'd probably fold. and if your against AAor KK which is unlikely, you're probably gonna bet him out of it with a strong bet on the turn. I rarely see a guy check that turn and call a push.
