    Yeah with 9 players and a 4xBB raise, I'd dump AJ out of position.

    If you're closing the action, I push preflop (65-70% of the time) or fold. Because the BB is left to act, it makes pushing more dangerous but I'd still do it.

    I would be less inclined if opp was a competent player with the size of the raise compared to his stack - seems like he's going to the felt and wants someone to come along.

    That really doesn't matter in this instance, the shortstack is pushing that flop when you check to him no matter what, and other than that there is no real post-flop play that is going to take place. I would definitely push pre-flop here, he has about 350 more chips left and is desperate.
