    Default Twosevoff's shorthanded hand dump

Gonna be posting lots of HH's in here.

For the first one, here's my favorite way to play a set. By leading and then just calling I am making him think I am weak or drawing, and then the push on the turn looks like desperation and hopefully he will already be pot committed enough as well to make it an automatic call. I will make these same half pot lead off bets with top pair, middle pair, an underpair, a draw, or even on a bluff. Once someone has seen this play once it sets up some nice (semi)bluffing opportunities in the future.

Unless I'm against a fish, I generally like to just call reraises with AA to disguise my hand and then try to get all my money in on a non-dangerous flop. If I get outflopped then so be it.

I am always willing to gamble with an all-in semibluff with 11 outs or more on the flop if I'm pretty sure the other guy doesn't have a set. Here, I had just won a pretty big pot off this guy so had a suspicion he was making a move or weak value raise and would fold, and even if he did make a stand or have top two I stood to be about even money. Another advantage of this play is that once people see it you will have a gambling image and are more apt to have your big hands paid off.

I believe these two hands were against our forum's own legend Ilikeaces. First hand I checked behind on the turn when I spiked my set because I wanted to keep the pot small to keep from getting destacked by KQ. If I give out free cards to beat me than so be it. On the river it was a tough decision whether to raise or just call, but in the end I decided to play it safe since I was scared of TJ and I thougt that there was a good chance that since it was Aces that only a better hand would call. Second hand was pure instinct and balls.
