Beginneres stickys and operations

I think it would be a good idea if you lumped all the Beginners circle stickys into one stick thread. The screen kinda fills up with them everytime you go in there. There's just too many.

Also I think the blogs section should be made "Blogs and Operations" and all the operation threads going on in Poker Etcetera could be moved there.

Just a thought.

Yeah - I second that. One 'FAQ for beginners' would be better, and tidier, than all those stickies.

I disagree.

A lot of the stickies are not FAQs - they are more like articles. You can't just lump them all together.

The reason that the Beginner's section has more stickies than others is because Beginners have a whole lot more to learn than anyone else.

Some of the sticky's I personally find more useful than others - but I don't want to remove any of them (except maybe my own) because the ones I find less pertinent could easily be exactly what someone else needs.

Oh I don't wan't them gone, I was just suggesting that you make one sticky thread and have links to all the present stickys in it. Otherwise eventually we'll be going into the beginners Circle and the whole first page of threads will just be stickys.

Okay. The anthologies are done. I've collected the formerly-sticky articles in one sticky topic called "Beginners Circle Digest." I've done the same thing in other forums with lots of stickies as well.

I like the idea of moving the Operations into the Blogs forum as well. What do others think of that?
