Default What's are your favorite foods?

pretty simple.. I'll start with a few.

Filet mignon, cooked medium rare. A1 bold and spicy on all but the best filets.. which you obviously don't put anything on.

Hot rock roll from Sakura (a Japanese steakhouse/sushi bar). It's a sushi bar appetizer. I honestly have no idea what's in it, but it might be the best food ever. It looks discusting though, that you can be sure of.

Shrimp cocktail with cocktail sauce. chilled. pretty simple.

I could probably add dozens of things here...

steak lobster and shrimp are fantastic

I love all sorts of exotic foods: jamaican, thai, etheopian, brazillian, mexican, indian.. pretty much any spicy ethnic food. I also get down with the more classical western cuisines, french italian russian polish, ect ect. I just love food. I once sat down and did a loose estimate on how much pr year I would need to live how I want to live. I think it came out to be around 55 grand a year for food, breaking down to somewhere around 150$ a day for food. I just love big heaty robust meals, lots of crazy spices and a good beer or wine with the meal.

    1) Fried chicken (preferably my own, although restaurant will work)

    2) Ribeye steak--no preference as to whether I cook it or I get it at a restaurant. T-Bones and porterhouses are good too. Don't care for sirloin too much

    3) Most forms of seafood. Best lobster (and most expensive) was at Lorenzillo's in Cancun. That place had to move after the hurricane.

    4) My homemade chicken and noodles.

    5) Omelettes--sausage, cheese and onion, along with any other meat you can think of.

    6) Brats/Italian Sausage with onions and peppers

    Red Maguro (tuna sushi/sashimi).

A rare filet served over marchand de vin and topped with lump crabmeat.

Medium rare duck breast seared in a pan until the skin is crispy and finished in the oven.

Any blue veined cheese with dried figs, toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of artisan honey.

    Caymus cabernet sauvignon.

Since I'm white trash my favorites are:

    Homemade Beef and Noodles
    Cornbread
Corn on the cob, that we grow on the farm.

Canned corn just isnt the same.
Field mice are fast, but owls can see in the dark.

    Oysters, breaded and fried.
    General Soes chicken
Grouse sauted in butter. Done right it melts in your mouth.
    Venison
But my all time favorite is fresh venison liver and onions. I know your thinking of how strong liver is but if it is fresh it is extremely mild. Soak in milk, sprinkle with a flour/salt/pepper mixture, sauté with onions.

It's sooo bad for you but sooo good. Poor Americans have to come up to Canada to have some. Which I never understood, what's so hard about putting cheese and gray together? They have cheese fries and gravy fries afterall ...

One of my ex bfs was American and he was obsessed with poutine. He had to get it like multiple times when he came to visit, it made me laugh.
