Well, Im not sure about your riverbet there. But when he moves in you sure have to call, with the pot being that big. With the poor players calling with middle pair and even worse you can be pretty sure you ran into trip 5´s or possibly a backdoorflush. However, I don't think you have no choice but to call him down in this sport.

I forgot to say he had K5. So with that said, you guys can give your well loved advice.

This may sound overly conservative, but I think you should be a little more careful betting again (at the river) with aces here. You have a high pair, but still it is only a mere pair. If you think he may called your flop and turn bets with a T and just cant release his measly top pair then by all means bet for value... Another problem is that if he called you with, let's say a straigh draw he sure aint gonna call your bet of anyway. So I think the river bet is actually a little pointless here and this is what I believe to be your key mistake in this hand. The ONLY reason to bet yet again is if you believe he has a T. But then you have to figure why he didn't raise on the flop? K5 makes a lot of sense, he sure did play the hand extremely bad but that's how it goes sometimes...

You played most of the hand fine. He called with no pot odds and not enough implied odds and got lucky, it happens.

The bad part about this hand is the river bet because you do not want to invest $27 into that pot because if you do you're usually not winning and you are committed to calling a river raise after a bet.

Cry and call the river. I probably play it exactly the same, since I know what these 6-max calling stations are capable of. Sure 5x or runner flush is a possibility, but there is a pretty good chance villian would have some kind of hand like 8x or Tx, so I probably bet this river everytime. If he calls down in unraised pots with bottom pair, you will get your money back very easily.

Also, if your opponents are this horrible and will call you down with bottom pair, why not just raise preflop and hammer every street? Surely a calling station like this must have loose preflop requirements also. Mixing it up is good against thinking players, but against calling stations it makes little difference.
