Hmmm well I'd say you may have wanted to have folded after he reraised you preflop and most definately after the turn assuming you have no reads on him. While it would be hard to put him on kings seeing as how he only called your preflop raise with those kinds of raises hes either going to have two pair or trips. YOu also really didn't need to over bet the pot on that flop. A bet of about half the pot would've saved you a bunch of money.

    Just my 2 cents.
Currently at UB playing $50 NLHE 6max.
    Bankroll: ~$1900 (Almost BR'ed for 100NL.)

I think you played it fine, at these levels you will be shown Kx more times then a set. AK and would play exactly the same.

I think you mean on the flop instead of preflop.

AK would of played the same way. I don't think you can lay it down in 10NL.

And was far as overbetting the pot, on the flop the pot was ~$6.40, and he bet $4 into it. That's not overbetting

    Marry Me Cheryl!!!
    KK caught a 2 outer.
personally my money might very well go all in on that flop.

I wonder if it's a matter of personal tolerance this? The first time I looked at this hand I thought, "I would've folded to that re-raise, cause the fekker's got triple kings."

At these limits, usually you don't encounter a brazen bluffer so the dude has definitely got something. But then again, I'm a pessimist, and I do tend to fold when given the slightest reason (I'm a believer in Mr. O'krongly's mantra of "Look for reasons to fold").

Then again, when you're not sure about the guy, you're thinking "Nah, these puppies'll hold up. This sucker's finished," so you push.

Either way you lose, just one way you lose less.

    Thanks for the comments guys.

At the time I thought through the hands he could have and felt that KK was unlikely as he only called me pre flop. Playing at this level (10NL) I was sure he would have re-raised me with KK considering my PFR was not that large.

Anyway, it seems as if I played it ok. Looking back I don't think I would have played it differently.

    Thanks again.

    No hindsight for the blind.
I mostly play SnG's so take this with a grain of salt.

Isn't the preflop raise a bit small with a limper in front and several people left to act? You need to isolate without announcing that you have AA, of course, but I might make it 0,70 to go here.

I would probably double him up on that flop. I think I am reraising him all in. If both our stacks were deeper I might find a fold if he pushes over a reraise. There is no way in hell I put him on a set of kings here though.

    not playing much
I think you played it fine. I'd probably push the flop after his raise expecting to see Kx (this is with no reads). If the guy was only playing like 10% of his hands I'd probably still play this way expecting to see AK. His just calling preflop with KK is pretty weak, it lets Ax play and actually the way it played out is the only situation that works out for him in my opinion.

Just push the flop after you get raised - the results are impossible to avoid there without a read as your opp could very well have AK or even QK.
