Operation: Starting Over, Bonus Whoring NL25 then NL50

oki, as I mentioned earlier I have a $1k roll and haven't ever exploited this whoring lark.. bit silly considering ive grinded out about 80-100k hands at NL20/NL30 already!

But now let the whoring and BR building begin.. I'll post my updates here.

I currently 4-6 table NL25 Full ring, I've never played at NL50 before so need to build my roll to 1.5k before stepping up.

I have previously played at Ladbrokes, VC, RVP, Pacific, Party, Absoulte.

So, to start the ball rolling my BR is available after christmas then I'll probably play for 3-5 hours every day. Can anyone recommend the best places for me to clear bonuses at NL25???

Completed this in about 6h-8rs!? Im loving this whoring lark. Just waiting on my neteller account to complete so I can do the PPA party bonus, their next monthly, then whore other party skins and other sites without any delay in swithing my roll around them.

I have a 2-3 day wait at the mo on Neteller, so instead of playing without bonuses ill get this website job done i need to finish. Then I can whore 8hr days till im back at work on 2nd then ill try and get in 20-25 pokering hours alongside my fulltime week of work.

Current goals are to reach $1500 then succeed at 50NL and continue whoreing my way up to 100NL (3K roll) hopefully I can hit that soon and pay off my BR stake from 1o0NL profits.

got tempted with 50nl on party, was stupidly 10 tabling and zoned out at the end of the night, dropped a bit.

neteller account got variefied on 3/01/06 so cashed out from party (1260)

loaded 500 to empire, cleared their bonus at 25nl but dropped 35$, still a 65 profit.

total br: 1329

still have multipoker, and pokernow bonuses to clear but having problems depositing.

I registered my usernames on a clean pc (using system restores on a housemates comp) but when I come to deposit at my machine i get a pay-pro user varification failed milarkey, they want a scan of my passport?

Id rather not send every digit that makes up my I.D. thru email so may star out a few digits and hopefully that should be fine?

What I've noticed so far:

Party: NL25 has soo many maniacs and idiots, nut peddling is very profitable. NL50 was full of over aggro peeps, pots we're very contested - seemed quite an improvement in ops play.

Empire: Nl25 was soo weak tight, seemed like everyone there was whoring.. felt like being on the bubble of a mtt. blindstealing and general pot stealings seemed the way to go and profit but i still managed to dwindle slightly.. not used to playing at these tables!

Anyone have any advice about my Multipoker problem, they said after 20 mins of scanning them my passport theyll varify me? Just hop ethey accept passport with few missing numbers.

Also when I finally hit 1.5k I can try whoreing at 50nl... but what sites are easiest to clear and what sites are softest at this level (10max)?

Yeah, black out a digit or two and FAX it to them, I recommend. It's no big deal. I've heard of sites asking for documentation...not unusual.

BODOG is notoriously fishy and has a bottomless bonus (I don't have an account there yet).

I've been playing B2B sites because the play there is soooo lose. Lots of bonuses which clear at NL50 ok.

my BR is at 1200 and ive just moved up Bodog 50NL from 25NL. The 25NL is not difficult to beat whatsoever and so far ive noticed little difference on the 50NL. Well worth a try.

Cleared two of my three party bonii's (about 7hrs 10-tabling in one day - AV IT!) I wanna get them done quick at NL25 as im not comfy to play NL50 at party yet, only NL25 so im just peddling it out... then I can move pack to E50NL at martins for the E600 bonus ))

after party i did staff poker for 225e bonni, then moved to martins and have profited 300e there whilst gaining 600VIPS for the 200 bonni there...

my roll has now tipped over $3k so im testing the waters at 100nl (3tabling).

the tables seem slightly more tight and a bit more aggressive but theres seems to be enough eggs gambling it up, after all most gamblers are gonna wanna play a nice game of 100nl imo (i.e. its an entry point .

im currently 3 tabling which is going really well; any fewer and I may concentrate/focus too much or play too many hands or something, any more and i may lose reads.

if i lose 4 buy-ins ill head back to 50nl...

in the past ive always struggled moving up and havent ever succeded on my first attempt; but im gonna try my best to make this move work. After all, Im now that much more experienced at going through the ordeal.

I know its just a psychological battle - i need to desensitize to these amounts as it feels like a hell of alot of money to me. Im feeling warm and fuzzy inside at the momenth whilst playing here which is really nice, like a buzz, i just hope the emotions dont interfere with my judgements. Emotions aside, i also need to get used to the bet amounts / stack sizes so that playing my game just feels normal and automatic again, without the large betting amounts interfering with my judgements.

my roll has increased quite a bit quicker than expected, I hop to make it at this 100nl and stick around profiting enough so i can withdraw for a few toys / 1600x1200 etc. thanks for the support peeps and muchos respect to eeeee and EasyT for the bonus whoreing help and tips

Update:

Things really slowed down, I only profited about 45e from martins after clearing their bonuses...

Went to pokerroom to start a $250 bonus (later upped to 300 due to them only adding it as 180) and my br hit a rollercoaster of varience and went...

(playing NL50 10man)

600 (loaded in) > 1k > 800 > 1,030 > 720
over ~5-6k hands.

Then my head was frazzled from varience and general hate towards my game.. so i decided to transfer to 6max NL50 where I'm now focusing way more on improving my game, only 2tabling.. and less on the grinding out hands playing ABC.

6Max has been brilliant, ive become acustomed to it straight away and after 2.8K hands im running at 22/7 which Im happy with.. 25-30/7-8 is my goal.

At the moment im happy with 22/7 whilst getting a feel for 6max and improving my game untill I have more confidence then maybe ill open up my hands and get to 25-30/7-8 or this may even happen naturally at some point

Winrate is obviously very insignificant at this amount of hands, whats important is im generally happy with my game (bar river play and emotiosn) and confident i can gain a decent winrate after 20k+ hands.. i'll have to wait and see and it may take some time now im only 2tabling. I'll probly add a 3rd soon, mind.

I played at a casino for the first time last week (£5R+A) 70runners, spent 20 and managed to get to last 3 where we equally chopped and I took £430. This is actually much needed cash for rent and living and unfortunatly only a small amount can go into my poker br.

My plan is to just continue at 6max, focus more on my game and what I want to improve, less focus on grinding out a bonus. Though I will obv continue playing only for bonuses.

- Try and build roll to 3k, offer mate his 1k and build back to 3k then move to 100nl 6max, or move to 100nl 6max at 3k and pay stake back when at 4k if he's cool with that.

1k had to come out to pay rent/live. Im gonna be getting a job in the next few weeks so can leave the br untouhced (im very pissed i had to withdraw that 1k esp as i havent payed my mate back the 1k stake yet) But he's in no rush and knows i can pay back anytime he needs it/wants it (f*kking big time legend)

Very rough figures: about 2k$ profited in bonus (ex martins 600e im waiting 45 days on), profited ~1.4k$ on top thru play online and ~$750 live.

Current BR is all over the place, im very bad with money management. Inc my live win its on about 4.2k - the 1k = 3.2k but the 750 from live game has to go on march rent/living (also treated myself to a bunch of new poker books) so current actual br = 2.4k

wow ive spunked or planned to spunk nearly half my roll on living.. that is not good and shocking now ive worked it all out.

shit.. realising my roll is growing twice as slow whilst unemployed, hes really brought to light how badly i need a job.

Also to note after my big grind at martins and huge varience at pokerroom i took a good 5 days out and just got my head back together and re-read my Zen and the Art of Poker making notes on the pages. Helped me get back into the focus of things.

Ive also just brought TOP, Phil Gordens Little Green Book and Tao and poker... so have lots of good reading for the next few weeks.
