no. At best AK of diamonds. At this level no one is raising to 1 dollar with AA, KK, QQ, JJ from my experience (which has been a while, but still).

and yes, if you lose to an overpair, okay, whatever. thats why you are properly bankrolled. you are usually ahead and its a +EV call. And if you have to spike a ten so be it. I don't see a 6-6, 88 or 6x making this play. The only hands you fear are overpairs and if thats it, cool, nh.

Do you have any reads on this person? How often do they a PFR? How aggressive with an overpair? How aggressive with a pocket pair? What are they doing before? A tad bit more information is needed... but if its my second hand at the table, I don't mind calling here. If I have tons of notes and 4k hands with this person... well, its different

Why not lead the flop? Did you fear the check raise?

Ben, I'm not sure if we're reading the same hand, but this is the easiest fold of your life, especially given hero's read. I play it exactly the same.

MP2 pushes 13 dollars (with the re-raise in). Do you honestly put him on AA, KK, JJ or QQ with the 1 dollar raise (4x bb) pre-flop with 1 utg limper? A solid tag who c-bets may re-raise when they feel there is a play being put on them.

And a solid tagg at 25 nl with a 20 dollar stack and a mediocre flop bet? Are we sure here? A 2 dollar flop bet? A 13 dollar re-raise? I don't see a fold at all

But also, I don't play 25NL, but still

Easy fold. I play it the exact same from both players perspective.

Easy fold - I probably play it like this, but I often wonder whether leading the flop would be better in these situations.
