Default differences between PS $22s and$33s

im running at 30% roi and 50% itm at the 22s with about 60% of my itms being 1st and 40% 2nd. this is over a 200 game sample, so while not definitive, it is still somewhat conclusive.

i moved up to 33s a while ago and i have had awful results. while it is true that many of my hands did not hold and i had large sessions in which my 75/25s would die, i dont believe it is entirely due to variance. over a ~100 game sample i am even money and its incredibly frustrating.

i was just wondering what the differences in the 22s and 33s are and what changes i should be making in order to stay profitable.

using a 100 buyin rule, im bred for upto the 55s and close to the 109s. i just want to beat every level before jumping into those.

I've played a lot of 20s and 30s and I don't really think there's much of a difference. The 50s are a definate step up though.

Now, are you saying it is conclusive that you have had this result over 200 tourneys? Or are you implying that it is conclusive in some other manner? I hope you're not suggesting the latter.

Oh yes. Just keep playing, the 33's aren't much different.

Can anyone comment on differences between PS regular $11s and $22s?

Absolutely none whatsoever. In fact, in the grand scheme of things I've seen more bad players at the 22s than at the 11s.

Look at it this way: 200 SNG's isn't enough to know how you're doing at the 22's, so do you think "awful results" at 100 33's could possibly be anything other than variance? An important maxim of poker is "Don't be results-oriented." It applies here too.

If you think you're playing well and you're rolled properly then move up. Just stay critical of your game and always try to get better.

    yah what they said.
33's arent that much harder, but they are a step up.
when i moved up i faired pretty badley, but now im running better at the 30's over the last 60 then i did at the 20's.
