Tough spot. He clearly has a pocket pair of some sort, and I don't think he has 99 or JJ that often here. I'd love to say I'd fold this, but i can't always find them when the pot gets big.

I reraise so I can hopefully work out the difference between AA/KK and the rest of the raising range. Thats why my bet size increaces on the turn. I'm getting confident This guy has JJ/TT.

I'm not that keen on QQ vs this guy's raising range UTG without any other information. I want to keep the pot under control, see a flop and a c-bet size.

Grant Hill doesn't call a huge turn bets with come hands and he is smatr enough to sniff that his JJ might not be good. Against him I'd check behind turn and called medium bet on that river.

With that read, I give him the absolute least action I can muster. Quite often when a nit calls me post-flop, I'm losing the pot unless I suck out or flopped a nut-like hand. It's just a matter of how big of a pot I want to lose. Heck, if he's nitty enough pre-flop there is merit in just folding or playing set.

There are a couple really really nitty multi-tablers in the PS100 and I get the hell out of their way all the time. PT has me up a bit against both of them. I think it's because they try to play set against me and almost never play their blinds. I also think both are overall winners in that game.

"Nit" is a tight, predictable, "camping for nuts" player with some kind of "table coaching" tendencies. His starting hand range is really narrow but he also has problems with laying down big pairs and complains when they get cracked.

You can stop right there. For what it's worth, most nits know enough to STFU at the table.

While there is sometimes overlap, I think the whole table coach thing is a different dynamic. The table coach is trying to play well and show others he plays well. The nit is just playing really tight and predictable poker.
