    Default 4K hand checkup

My stats after 4K tracked hands

    VP$IP--23.4%
    PF raise %--11.66%
    Aggression factor--1.66
    BB/100 hands-- +6.87
Win at SD--41.7% (needs work, but this is going up as VP$IP) is going down.

Position play needs work. I am barely ahead on the button, and BB is my most profitable position. I don't think that would sustain istelf long term, right? Worst positions are UTG+1 and SB. Not losing money UTG, either.

I know its a small sample, but how does it stack up so far? Am I really Semi-Loose Agressive Passive like PT tags me? I don't think I am passive....but I know I could tighten up even more.

    Thanks for the input.

Full. Running 2 tables at once. Tried three but not up to it yet. I also found I can't play a ring game and a SNG at the same time. I get killed in the SNG....

We have very similar pre-flop numbers. If you're making money from your blinds, it's a pretty sure sign you're running stupid good. Expect this to change.

So in order to sustain my BB/100 rate, outside of getting out of my own way at times, what other stats should I bring up? Is my BB/100 rate sustainable in this particular game? What is your aggression factor overall, and agression factor preflop, out of curiosity? My preflop aggression is something like .88. One of my typical plays:

Get decent starting hand (position irrelevant, but it needs to become relative). Raise between 4-8X BB depending on number of limpers.
Get a piece of the flop, bet close to pot, fold everyone out.
OR, someone calls, proceed with caution.
Get two pair or better, depending on number of opponents, I either bet half pot to keep people in, or pot sized in the case of two pair to fold people out.
Miss with good overcards, bet between pot and half-pot, if I get callers, I am likely beat unless I pair on the turn. Proceed accordingly.

I pick up lots of pots like this, but I would like to be able to make even more when I hit my good hands. Seems like people don't want to give me action after a few of these plays. I know $2 and $3 pots add up in a $25 game, but I guess what I am asking is are 8X BB pots typical, or am I missing something?

I play lots of small pots too. In NLHE stats don't correlate so strongly towards winning/losing styles.

All I can really say is that you are playing an sTAggy style that will put you in more difficult spots than most winning NL25 players. There is also great potential to swing like a monkey.

However, in the long run you might wise up and play better poker faster than your tighter kindred.

I have noticed the swings. Some bad swings because I play like a dumbass, others because of the precarious spots I can put myself into. But when I hit a good swing it is REALLY good. Need to level it out a little bit...Thanks for your help, Fnord...

    maybe tighten up a bit?

To like 19 percent for full ring. Also you could probably save some money by lowering the amount of your c-bets abit (whenever there isn't a flush/straight board, then I always pot it) to around 2/3s of the pot.

That way whenever your c-bet bites it, then you don't lose as much from it. It seems like your W$@SD is low because your flop bluffs are pot committing you. This is evident in that royal flush hand you just posted. When the LAG raised you, if you'd have just called instead of trying to play for stacks, you'd make more money off that hand in the long run.

I am not that good at NL25 yet. I am just having a lot of the same problems you're having.
