With all of those players around here, I wanted some advice on buying a new laptop.

I currently own a mac, which is money, but obviously limits the sites I can play at and earn bonuses. I have two questions:

1. Would you rather only spend around 5-600 to buy a basic laptop where the only important thing is that the computer is able to run poker/music, and has a wireless card for mobile playing?

or

Would you rather spend somewhere between 1k-1.3k to get a sweet set up with all the bells and whistles.

I seriously believe the only thing I would be using the PC for is poker, and stick with the mac for all other needs.

2. Can you recommend a system to buy in each price range (preferring the cheaper range)? I know dell has a lot of good options and deals, but I'll take any system that is cheap and can do what I want. I dont care about a new printer, or stuff like that, just additions to make the computer better.

p.s. I've heard some rumors that the cheap dell laptops are pieces of shit, bu if you move up in models just a little bit they vastly improve in quality.

True?
