To me, this is an easy call.

I don't like the call because you're out of position with a modest hand at best. Yes you both have large stacks, but it's very tough to get paid off out of position, so that significantly reduces your implied odds.

I think your table talk is hilarious and must aid in pissing people off enough to give you more action. By saying "gambool" here, it seems you are tipping that you actually have a good starting hand. That probably freaked the guy out enough that if he didn't hit his mid PP on the flop he is letting it go to any bet from you. Nice.

I think this is easy fold, and I'm pretty loose, unless this is some laggy maniac type of player, and he wasn't like that when I played against him earlier today.

I don't see anything wrong with occasionally calling a raise with 8-9 offsuit from the big blind if you have any ability to play after the flop.
