Default Good Bluffs or asking for trouble?

Both me and this guy have made some nice plays and got caught making some moves. However, I hadn't cr'd anyone up until this point and this guy is capable of laying down TPTK or less. We hadn't been in too many raised pots against eachother yet. I think he would have reraised me if he had the queen so I followed through on the turn. What do you think? I go to check/fold mode if he calls/raises.

Later on I had 44 and called same guy's pfr as did 2 others. Flop comes out JQ4. The other 2 checked to me. Pot is 14, I bet 7. He reraises 20 and other two fold, I reraise 50 and he pushes with KK.

    Another one:
I was on two tables and it was hard to get reads on everyone because two guys on this table were going crazy back and forth with huge pots. fmj777 and jazz2087 were semi-loose but not too out of line. bafink was new and bought in short. I'm so glad fmj777 made my decision easy (first time I saw him do this). That is the lamest move that tends to work on moron opponents. Once he bet $1 and the other guy called, I knew I could take this pot. Nobody's protecting their Ace against two diamonds?

I ditch the 33 hand, hand 2 is almost standard for me.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Hand 1 is an easy fold, don't even bother getting yourself in situations like that.

As for hand 2, it's risky since anybody can have an ace here. If you get called however you better shut down.
