i raise the flop to $1 because i think he has a weak hand. if you just call he can put you on a weak range also.

You fell for that....and heads up to boot??? Reraise to 3/4 or pot when they do this and the hand is over. Calling lets them know you missed and lets them suck out - all for the discount price of 1bb.

Sure, its possible that some donks will minraise the flop after they hit a monster, but who cares, reraise him and find out! Sooner rather than later. As for a minimum raise on the turn or river, call it down at the very least. Look how much money is in the pot. You can't let go of even A high on a minraise here.

This type of min-bet seems to be the typical low-stakes line nowadays for 'I have some pair or a draw - do you have Ace hi?'

If they have a draw and you reraise, they will call, but will generally fold any other weak holding.

    Don't pussy call that minbet!

You started off preflop representing a high pocket pair - follow through with it on the flop. He is telling you with his minbet that he has a pair somewhere, and is looking for a cheap showdown.

If you represent a pair of queens or better on the flop and turn, most players fold their middle pair before the river. Bet 1/3 - 1/2 pot on the turn and don't put ANYMORE $ into the pot after that, because he's calling/raising with better than ace high.

Representation is key, your min bet call on the flop smells of a weak hand.
