Default So....I have Aces at $200NL

Villian here is a very good player and probably biggest winner at this limit. I only have 2k hands logged with him but actually have 34k+ hands on him from datamining, his stats are 12/6/3.2. He knows that I'm a weak/tight nit.

    Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    UTG+1 ($215.60)
    UTG+2 ($344)
    MP1 ($221.85)
    Hero ($203.65)
    MP3 ($170.90)
    CO ($200)
    Button ($189)
    SB ($313.65)
    BB ($205.05)
    UTG ($308.40)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with A, A. SB posts a blind of $1.
    UTG calls $2, UTG+1 calls $2, 2 folds, Hero raises to $14, 5 folds, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls $12.

    Flop: ($33) 4, 7, K (2 players)
    UTG+1 bets $20, Hero....

a little town called none of your goddamn business
Looks like the dream AK situation to me. I'd probably call and see what he does on the turn. I can't lay down aces to one flop bet.

Why did you raise so big preflop? You wouldn't have had to pay so much to get info from Villain if you'd have raised to like $10 preflop.

    Disclaimer: I don't play 200nl.

He's straight forward preflop, never seen him cold call with AA or limp/raise AK/AA/KK/anything ever. I raised alot because the people that hadnt acted behind me were loose and i just dont like playing OOP.

With those stats it looks like a set, your large pre-flop raise may of tilted your hand somewhat and he's looking for a raise.

Not sure I could fold that though so I'll go with Renton and just call then reasses the turn. I don't think you can play for stacks against this player.

    Can someone explain those stats?

    12/6/3.2

12 percent of hand he either raises preflop or calls the blind or a raise preflop.

6 percent of the time he raises preflop.

3.2 is his agression factor according to Poker Tracker

Never read any stickies or announcements

or puts money in from the SB, or leads from the BB in a limped pot, or posts outside the sb/bb.. basically anytime any money goes in the pot for any reason whatsoever outside the forced SB/BB.

In other words he's 3.2x more likely to bet or raise then he is to call.

Against this guy, I'd probably just call and see what he does on the turn.

Pot control is a good thing here.. this guy has tighter stats then me and I know I often have a set here. And I've stacked many players who overvalue their 1pr hands here too...

How is the rest of my line?

I raise to $60 and he calls

Turn is the 3 of clubs
    he checks/i check

River is the 10 of diamonds
    he pushes, I fold.
