Second Round games discussion

So far I am definatley liking LSU +6 and Witchita St +2.

Duke has had a habbit all year of squeaking out victories and i could see this being another one of those close games. I even think LSU may beat them straight up (I hope so too! Screw the Dukies!).

Witchita state game is a revenge game. GM beat them earlier in the year by 3. I think these are two very evenly matched teams and in situations like this its hard for one team to win both meetings in a season. I like the points here.

Good logic on the GM/WichSt game. No action for me there, just happy for the winner.

As much as I really hope they get it done, LSU is still young with a very average backcourt and Duke is - well, Duke...

Memphis. Playing well ever since they gave a game to UAB at the end of reg season. More athletic than a Bradley team that's thrived on its athleticism. The d can be killer and their turnover problems get another break here.

Texas. Too much talent, too much size, smothering 38% opp fg. Too tough for a WVU team that doesn't get 2nd chance opps.

Florida. This may be a close game. The Florida frontcourt that more than held its own against LSU should be okay here. The guards are really getting it together and that should be the difference.

UCLA. Gonzaga is not that good.

I'm planning to play all of these in a Tourney ATS contest where I'm up on the leaderboard, and pick no more than 3 for 1.5 - 3 u plays.

I agree with you on the Duke game. I just think LSU can control the boards and keep it close. Plus I need LSU to win for my bracket! I am in a competition to win a lease on a car for 3 years and am currently in first place!

UCLA... the more i look at this the more i like it. Zag's cant play defense and UCLA has awesome D. I think there offenses are about equal and i just dont think the Zags can keep up.

I want to get on hte Florida bandwagon but G'town just scares me. Remember when they went on that crazy run of like 6 games in a row about a month and a half ago. I am worried they might be on another such run right now. These guys can play with anyone in the country when clicking.

I think i might make a little teaser just to have somethin on tonights games. Texas pck/Duke -1 is looking good. Im going to toss a half unit on it.

I'll definitely be pulling for LSU as well, since I picked them in a Sweet16 competition (where it makes no sense to pick all chalk), and Duke going down would help me in other bracket competitions as well - including the one here!
That said, a lease on a car - that would be so sweeet.

I'm seeing some really good cappers on the other side of the games I picked. Over 80% of the action is on Memphis and the line is going down.
Just a little pre-game sweat to make things interesting.

Well i hit my LSU +6 bet but lost my teaser. Still came out ahead on the night since LSU was larger. Also threw in a late bet against cincy in the NIT. I live in Cinci and word got out a couple of minutes early that there were going to be suspensions of key players so i managed to get SC +3 before they dropped to -1 or -2.

Taking Witchita State tonight small.

Also everyone pull for BC tonight. If they win I will just about have locked up first place in my office pool ($500) and have a good shot at winning a 2 year lease on a new car!
