You bluff-raise with almost the worst hand possible preflop, then bluff again on the flop without position so no idea if your opp has something or not.. well atleast you didn't wuss out on the turn.

This is -EV play though.. these bluffs will cost you way more than they make you in the long run.

Ya ok, I might take a little look at the flop in LP with plenty of limpers but 74o really isnt a raising hand. The exception is if the table has got very tight, or they think you are very tight and will fold to most high card flop cbets. If you want to try something like this it would be better to aty least wait for 74s. Mucho -EV in the long run here I feel.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

    Omg he did!

47o vs [any hand] 38.5% to win vs 61.5% to lose

Ok ok.. 27o is worse, at 34.9% to take on and beat the "any hand".. so I guess he coulda done worse here.

I think everyone should have a bad hand that they play like AA whenever it comes. It adds a little element of doubt to your game.

    Mine is T8o.

Why am I getting the feeling I'm missing some inside knowledge here.

Hm, I did once hear a guy say in the chat that 47o was his 'lucky hand'..

Ok I'm an idiot, musta misread it somehow. The button is probably the best place to throw a bluff from indeed.

This play might be -EV but it can create +EV situations later. If you had shown the 74o and then tightened up, you have almost guaranteed yourself action later when you have a big hand. Of course this is irrelivant since you didn't show but this is a situation I might show my cards if the table had been playing too tight.

Hm, when I see someone show their hand after a succesful bluff, I usually this is exactly what they have in mind: to play a real hand harder next time..

I don't let cards drive my play that much.

Well it was actually kind of a joke, but you guys can take it seriously if you want. In 25nl i doubt this is +ev but maybe at higher stakes. I always love to bluff 74o
    Check out the new blog!!!

I do it with T8o because I actually think its a decent hand. Its rarely dominated, they can't put you on it if you hit, and for some reason I flop straights with it a lot.
