Default Top set on flush flop.

Should I have put in a post oak value bet here on the end? The pot was far larger than my stack, I figured he either had an underset or was a superdonk who knew nothing about pot odds, and missed his flush. I have top boat, so I am not worried about a better hand calling me. I figured the push was the best option, since there was a chance he'd had the flush all along and would surely call.

The pot was bigger than my stack at that point.

Some people are more likely to call if you bet slightly under their full stack, or if you bet the exact amount of their stack rather than pushing yourself. The push is correct, but the way in which you push might have got a call.

    I doubt it though.

He's getting nearly 3:1.......he isn't going to fold anything good so it's an easy push

sick thing is even if he hit his flush on the river and took my stack (and I didn't fill up), I still made enough money from his calls with bad odds on previous streets to not even give a shit.

Like I said, Ni Han. If you put him on a draw, then maybe a river check to induce, but that's very read dependent.

I was in position. I figured the best I could have done was a tiny (10 bucks or so) value bet, but I am sure that would have been transparent as hell.

So make it $20 or $25 and milk that tit for all you can. This is assuming that you don't think he'll call a push at all.

Pot is like $90 and he's already called 3 agressive moves by you, how do you not push here when the last bet is less then 2/3 pot?

    I would push.

I'm saying that IF you think he WILL NOT call a push, and you don't want to bet a very small amount like $10, then put out what looks to be a blocking bet to induce a call or a push. My answer before was solely based on that very specific question that Renton asked about $10.
