    Pf, I'd consider calling too. Most likely 2 pair. You got 4 outs to a straight, 3 outs to top 2 pair, 2 outs to a set. You need to invest $40 into a $115 pot, which is roughly 1/3. Add in the fact that he might not have you beat yet but rather is chasing his own straight with KT or something. So yeah, I think you can call if you should feel the need.

    I might CR flop instead as my last action, but I think this is OK too.

    Sometimes I re-pop this pre-flop, particularly if my cards are s00ted.

    Check the flop and see what he wants to bet here. I might check/fold. I might check/call. A check/raise turns your hand into 74 offsuit.

    Because you are scared of the board, right? 2P, set, etc?

    Does AT lead out pre-flop 5X in this game? Never played $100 6-max, don't know....

    A check/raise turns your hand into 74 offsuit.
    Could you please explain this? Because villain pushes and you have to let go?

    Yeah, I considered popping him back preflop but he really seemed to like his hand. Then he showed top 2, so a re-raise preflop likely would've slowed him down.

    Never sure whether to shit or go blind OOP. You think leading is bad here? I purposely 2/3 potted it to see if anyone would come over the top. Check/folding would obv. be cheaper.

    I don't like bet/folding lukewarm hands into someone who's inclined to raise light.

    Okay, so let's change it up a bit...

    Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with A K
    UTG raises to $5, 3 folds, Hero calls, BB calls.

    Flop: J Q K ($15, 3 players)
    Hero checks, BB checks, UTG bets $20, Hero ???

    $20 into a $15 pot on that board? He can have it. Looks a lot like AK/AA is scared of being sucked out on or TT is getting frisky. In any case, we're not in good shape.

    38,610 games 0.051 secs 757,058 games/sec

    Board: Ks Qh Jd
    Dead:

    equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
    Hand 1: 52.0344 % 41.58% 10.45% { AhKh }
    Hand 2: 47.9656 % 37.51% 10.45% { TT+, AJs+, KQs, AQo+, KQo }

    It's close and I really hate our prospects here when a lot more money goes into the pot.

    What would your calling threshold be here?

    I would check/call a regular c-bet from this guy and play a turn.
