Default AK against a reraiser. Is this ok?

I thought about both pushing and folding preflop. I eventually decided that with position I could afford to call and see what happened later in the hand. Hopefully that gets the third guy in and adds a little dead money buffer.

I dont have much in the way of reads. Its a very loose table but this guy has seemed ok so far. Not seen much of him though

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    CO ($8.15)
    Button ($7.65)
    SB ($9)
    BB ($1.90)
    UTG ($7.50)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, A.
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.50, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, SB raises to $1.50, 1 fold, Hero calls $1, CO calls $1.

    Flop: ($4.60) 6, K, 4 (3 players)
SB bets $3.50, Hero calls $3.50, CO folds.

    Turn: ($11.60) 9 (2 players)

just calling his reraise is fine preflop. I think you played it fine. You hit the flop and he is betting into you. If he has AA or KK I'll pay him off. Reraises from the SB do tend to indicate some serious strength though...I wouldn't be surprised if he turns over AA or KK, but also I wouldn't be surprised if he turns over TT, JJ, QQ, AK.

Alarms go off in my head right here, this is exactly the kind of guy who will sneak up on you and stack you at a table like that. More-so with him comming out of the Small Blind. I make a really weak/tight laydown pre-flop.

I concur. Position is nice, but in a fat, reraised pot, there's a good chance that a lot of money is going in, neutralizing your positional advantage to some extent. Not to mention potentially disasterous reverse implied odds should you hit tptk and still be behind. If he's an unknown and hasn't been out of line, then I give him the benefit of the doubt here and fold. Once you get that flop though, gotta go with it.
