Default KK on a scary flop board (25NL PP 10max)

Im not sure if I misplayed this hand, on the flop I am pretty sure I am ahead vs AK or AQ the only hand I see calling me here that has me beat is AJ, I think QQ is reraising preflop. ANyone low pocket pair that called preflop has to fold on the flop with three overs.

So on the flop I was a little scared but I was pretty sure I was ahead when he led out on the flop, seeing him play and try a trap once or twice before I just called pretty sure I was ahead. On the turn I bet an amount I think he would call, at this point I am almost positive he holds AK or AQ. Rivers a blank so I again try to put in a value bet.

    What do you guys think?

I probably raise his flop bet. Its pretty easy for him to make a straight on the turn so I want to make him pay to draw.

As played I think you can bet around $4 on the turn which should let you bet closer to $10 on the river.

Slightly underplayed but not bad. I'd have raised the flop too, but I always overplay hands so I don't even know if that's right.

As you say, you doubt QQ and you're paying it off anyway. 2nd nuts is pretty good though!

I raise the flop as well. I want to kill myself when I let a draw complete cheaply. Everything else looks fine to me.

Raise the flop definitely. He is betting out because he either has a decent hand or a decent draw and he is likely going to call a raise. So raise!

I don't need to state what everyone else has said, but I will anyway. Raise the flop for 2 reasons. 1) you have the 3rd best POSSIBLE hand, and it is very unlikely that you are beat here. It is also very possible a weaker hand doesn't what YOU drawing. Someone could easily have a smaller set, or 2 pair. Raise for value and build the pot.

    2) There are alot of draws, that you want to charge.

I really think this is a critical error in this hand and may be a leak in your game. The secret to NL is to play big hands in big pots and small hands in small pots. You have a big hand so...

If he shows QQ for Quads I would just quit poker for good.

Until the next Party reload or so lol.

I would have raised to 1.75 preflop and 2.5x raised the flop. Heads-up, I'd consider just calling, but since its two villains, both of which most likely hit this flop in some way, you should raise, and you shouldn't feel too bad about it. On this board, you are getting a call. Remember for you to be able to stack someone with your awesome hand they have to have a pretty good hand too.
