on a side note, what is the best way to make decent money on pokerstars? i don't mean the best way to improve my game or anything, i'm just trying to build my bankroll up so i can play 25 or 50nl. i just need some quick stacking tips.

i tried to work all today on stacking but only managed to do it a few times. what are some psychological moves that can lead to fish pushing their stack in with a mediocre hand, and what limits is it better to try this at, 5nl or 10nl?

it also didnt help that i was playing trash all day because i couldnt catch anything. but at 5nl i just stopped raising preflop all together and limping the .02 every hand. i was raising it to .20 every hand and everyone would fold. so i started showing the junk i raised with and they started calling and then i tried to just do it with good hands so they would call with shit but i didnt get any cards and this is a rant and i hate poker and variance and why do i have such bad fucking luck sometimes. god damn.

wow you know what is real annoying. when you can't get any action to save your life for about 2 hours. so you have to slowly build your stack up through miniscule-sized pots because everyone at the table is a vagina and can't call 3x BB raises that i do 3-4 times every rotation.

meanwhile, i've had about 12 PPs (all low cards) and havn't caught a thing. the one hand i finally catch a set (pocket Js) the board comes JK6. i think i'm sitting great. he leads out, i call. turn is a blank, he leads out, i raise, he calls. river is a blank, he bets small, i reraise he calls and shows the set.

just like that, my entire earnings are blanked in one hand that was borderline impossible to get away from. only KK beats me here, and he had it.

why does shit like this happen? stupid small pots that are practically worthless, and when i finally get a hand it happens to be up against a better disguised hand and i'm fucked.
