search glitch?

Searches are only returning the first page of results to me, even when there are more.
Am I missing something, or is search glitchy?
Eg, searched for "min raise" and got back 15,062 results...not trying to look at ALL of them, but the first page didn't have what I needed...clicking 'Next' returns "no topic or post met your search criteria" - same with just clicking on any subsequent page#.
I dunno, maybe it has something to do with the slooowwness.

wow, my own personal thread of search glitch-ness. yay.

so um, is it just me or is there a problem with the search function?
a.) yes, search is messed.
b.) search is messed, but it's only temporary.
c.) it's you. stop being such a cheapass and buy a real computer already.
d.) ahomosayswhat.
e.) talking about it is only going to cost us advertising bucks.

We did some updates recently that seemed to have temporarily affected people's cookies or something.

Try clearing your browser's cookies and cache and rebooting.

Let us know if this resolves your problem.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just did the whole cleaning and reboot.
Still had trouble, so tried an experiment. The results are mixed.

For searches that return less than 1k matches (eg, "quads"), I can access every page of results.
For searches that return more than 10k matches (eg, "raise" or "min raise"), only the first page is accessible.
There is a netherland between 1-10k matches where the results are accessible one page at a time only (eg, "open push").

Is this standard?
Is the trouble is on my end ?

All results (even huge ones) return fine at the couple of other sites I tested .

Don't mean to be a pain about it (silliness aside), but it would be nice to search.
There's a ton of collective wisdom that's inaccessible without it.
