Default Keeping them in the hand

How do I keep these people in the hand ? Im having a hard time getting paid sometimes.. Not all the time.. But some. I dont even mine checking OOP sometimes when I have a strong hand.. I dont get mad when they check behind... WTF yeah I do .... I want someone to donk into me with a substandard hand... However; I see too many people going to the river with Ace high and when I have a boat like this below.. I cant even get paid . Whats the prob? I dont play every hand like this... If I flop trips or a set I bet it... I flop a straight I bet it. I bet my hands and I am not timid at all. Is this just how it is? Is ring about reading the board more and weighing the possibilities of opponents holding more than SNG's? I lure bet, I min raise.. I donk bet.. I have tried everything to extract value. Maybe Iam expecting too much .. Thoughts?

Why are you checking flop? As played, raise the turn. If he has a ten, you want a lot of money going in on the turn so you can get paid on the river.

Ring is much different than SNGs, and if you play full table SNGs then 6 max NLHE cash games is a whole different game. You need to learn how to play post-flop, and this comes with experience. You also need to realize that in order to get paid you need to either have a bad image to where people play back at you with marginal hands, or, somebody else has to have a hand worth going broke with. Seems simple, and it really is at the lower limits. As you move up generally your opponents won't go broke as easily. But in all cases, they need something to lose their chips with. If they don't, then you don't get paid.

I know you said this hand is just one line that you might take. It just might be the least effective. You're trying to let your opponents make a mistake, but you're not giving them much reason to do so.
As the old saw goes, give them enough rope to hang themselves, which in this case means:
Build the pot with your monsters. Opponents are much more inclined to make mistakes in big pots.

Yeah - keep betting out. They will view your continued aggression as false and eventually pay you off. Like people said, if they don't have a hand you can't really make much money off them regardless. You might extract an extra dollar but you open yourself up to letting them hit a stronger hand than yours. I was watching an episode of High Stakes Poker yesterday and Doyle tried to get cute by checking trips on the flop. Greenstein probably would have folded to a decent flop bet holding 66. A 6 hit on the turn and Greenstein doubled up. Doyle was lucky Greenstein was relatively short stacked.

I understand letting them make mistakes.. And out of all the NICE POTS I have taken down it has been from others making idiots plays. Going AI in a bad bluff attempt etc.... Lower FD's than mine... Etc... I need to start realizing just because I have a monster .. I am not always going to take down a monster pot. Im attempting to learn better post flop play and extract what I can .. Not trying to push people out of pots with big hands= correct ring play... I used to be scared I would get sucked out... Ring is an awesome game where you kinda know when your beat... And if you are ... I pay the minimum because most will either donk bet OOP hoping for you to come over the top, or overbet. This style is so much different than SNG's. However; I am losing out on many hands because of my safe style of play.. I know Iam ... However once again I think this is the best approach right now while Iam in the building process.
