    Default KK hand

    My stack: $15
    opp stack: $23

Opp is on the button, haven't been at the table long, but he seems like a decent Lagg. Raises probably anything from the button, floats often, etc.

    I'm on the SB ($0.05)
    My hand: Kc Kd

    One limper
Opp on the button raises $0.40
    I reraise $1.60
    He calls, rest folds.

    pot: $3.40
    Flop: 8c 8d 9h

    I bet $2.60
    He calls

    pot: $8.60
    Turn: 3h

    My bet??

I ended up betting $6. He could have the 8, since he can have anything. If he doesn't, I'm ahead. I wasn't sure what to think here. I didn't want to inflate the pot, but a weak bet or a check might allow him to push me off the hand with air or a little something - I've seen him take down some pots like that (bet on weakness). I didn't want to play on sheer fright with overpair since he could have "anything", so I decided to price him. Good/bad?

After my bet, he pushes all-in.. my line?

Um, given that you have almost nothing left behind, call.

Yeah ok but how I should have played the turn is what I am most curious about here.. would you slow down or keep strong like I did here?

Btw I rechecked and I messed up the numbers by accident, I had $15 behind, not $11.. so I had $4.80 left.

Youve played aggressive up untill this point... Dont slow down now. Its doesnt look like your going to be pushed off the hand anyways. Weak bet/strong bet, Villian is calling... You have like 6 bucks left.. Cross your fingers ... Your going to the river - I put him on a 9 riding this out putting you on A Q or A K .

Heh.. he pushed, I called, he flipped 78o. Bye bye stack

In retrospect I should have exercised more pot control.. I'm pretty easy to put on a hand with my preflop reraise so him simply calling the flop should have tipped me off I could be in trouble.. 8, 9 or straight draw is almost guaranteed. If I could do it again, $2.50 on the turn and fold to aggression, rather than pot committing myself.

Betting out $6 is fine, but you obviously have to call a push. If you know he's the type of lag to float or call lightly, you could go for a cr ai on the turn. But if you are asking whether or not you could have saved your stack here, the answer is no.

Also, I'm assuming this is 6-handed?

At best you could have slowed down a tad and got a check check maybe on the turn . But you had one of those hands ... You just dont do that with.. NH -
    Fire up another.
