Too fishy?

This is worth a call preflop with so many people right? I'm OOP but they're sooted! I'll drop this on the flop if anyone bets...oops they didn't. I figured he had KJ or less and since my kicker wouldn't come into play I was a split at worst. Plus this guy will make moves like this with worse since everyone checked. He may even have a Queen here often, but not KQ most likley. I got the perfect river card and he couldn't let go of his hand. If I had been playing too tight prior to this, I may not have gotten a call here.

I'm posting some semi-fishy hands recently because I'm not sure if I'm getting too loose or not. It seems to be working though. I don't play every hand this way. I'm trying to find the right mix.

yeah I think pre flop call is mandatory, rest plays itself.

Disagree - pre-flop call is fine but turn call is fishy as hell. What are you ahead of there? How many clean outs do you think you have if you're behind? That's almost a pot-sized bet you called, with just top pair/mediocre kicker. The guy who bet was the second caller of a raise - you think he might have KT/KJ, or perhaps even 3x? I sure do. Don't like that call at all... you're really hoping to get bailed out, and if not how big of a bet are you willing to pay off on the river?

The kicker is irrelevant since the Queen is in play. But I'm looking at a split pot most likely. As I mentioned this guy could have a Queen and maybe a draw or air. These factors made me call. But even then....

I wasn't thinking about the paired board + queen; my fault. Regardless I'm not crazy about calling down when you're kind of HOPING for a split. In a multi-way pot especially, that seems like a dangerous strategy.

However, you do have two people including the original raiser yet to act behind you, so throw in a small caution flag for the possibility of a slow-played QQ or weirdly played KK. This might be an OK call. Factoring in the small draw-or-air possibility, I would guess that your equity here is probably pretty good.

Nice river fish. Turn call was awful. If you felt the paired board was protecting you then push over the top.
