    Default One horrible hand

This is about the 30th hand I've been at this table. I haven't raised PF yet, only limped a couple of times with small PP. Table is quite tight with the only loose player the BB (43%/14%/2.5 over 42 hands).

3xBB raises was the standard raise I noted and it often got folded all around which is why I went with that instead of the standard 4x. I'm not sure 1BB would make a difference to the LAG here, but I'm interested to hear thoughts on that.

    1) Do you drop this when you get 3-bet so large on the flop, or are you up against AK, AQ, or KQ enough to make this profitable? I hit raise before I punched in my raise amount (I didn't mean to minraise). If I raise to $3 and he 3-bets back-- is that enough to make you drop here then?
    2) Is it correct to include JT in his range given his stats?
    3) This doesn't smell like a diamond draw to me. Agree?
    4) If not for the Q on the river I probably call down ($13.2 puts me all in); is that dumb?

    Raise more preflop.

As played, I'm pushing the turn here. I think he might have sucked out with AQ on the river. Nice muck.

    1) 3-bet so large? It's a 3.50 raise into a 4.60 pot. No, I don't muck here unless I can really narrow down a range where I'm either crushed or am a little ahead. Which is rare.

    2) yes, JT is most certainly in this guy's range.

    3) depends on how agressive he is. I wouldn't discount a draw here, although it may be some kind of combo draw (pair of Q's + flush draw or gutshot + flush draw).

    4) there shouldn't be betting left on the river

I hate your flop min-raise, but as played, I call the 3-bet.

I'd push the turn, and if he shows JT, so be it. The only other hand you're even remotely concerned about is QQ, and even if he wouldn't 3-bet it pre (he probably would), putting a 43% vpip guy on bottom set when you have top 2 is just silly.

But there's only $13 left and the pot is already $22 if you call, there's a LOT of cards you don't want to see (T, J, Q, diamond) which beat you or kill your action, and if he's drawing, you aren't winning money on 5th street..........

If the flop is AdKdJh or AdKdTh, does that change your thinking? Bottom set bugged me a little, but I was more concerned about the straight.
