What do you do with the EP flop minbet?

Make it around 2/3 of pot there is no flush draws on the board. In this instance you want someone to call you so a bet of $1.25 or $1.50 should get you about two callers.

I agree - you flopped the nut straight on a rainbow board, don't come out firing that aggressively.

Its aggresive all right. I probably make it 3/4 pot and play a turn. Your bet is a bit revealing on this board. A set might even fold here though it depends on the player.

I disagree. I think hands like A5s or even two pair raise the flop this way. It looks like he wants to take it down there--not the attitude you'd expect from someone with the nut straight. That said, I'd bet 1/2 to 2/3.

working myself up to FTR fullhouse status while not giving 1 solid piece of advice
what kind of image do you have? Overbet - yeah, for sure - but i still raise here...and not just mini raise - Think of how many players at that level will raise there with 5x thinking that they are "protecting" their top pair - I tend to bet these kinda hands and sometimes they just fold, but when they start calling, you will win a nice fat pot - Only way to make pot big is bet - I would probably raise the quarter to $1 total - This ought to get at least 1 of them calling - Slow playing is an epidemic though - Everyone at these levels EXPECTS you to slow play a big hand - I was playing with guys last night that were taking down $1 pots with boats and quads...they just kept expecting someone to bet for them - I try to let them catch up some, with 2 players in front betting/calling (even a mini bet) they probably want to see a turn - Raise them up a bit, then a bit more on the turn - Hopefully they catch something - My thinking is that I would rather win a few big pots, instead of nickel and diming (value betting) players to death - People want to show down their hands...If they think you are stealing (by betting a monster, when they expect you to slowplay) you might get called with 2nd pair here at times -
