First off you posted this in the wrong forum. Muxxxy the policy is clear...

    All NON-POKER, NON-CASINO off-topic miscellany.

    As for hand #1

Yes, there is something with following dangerous guidelines like this. You are not accounting for factors such

    -THE BOARD..................
-such as a board with ace and you have set of sixes
-A56 board is different from 762 board
Evaluate the board in context with you're hand and sometimes giving a free card and a free chance to draw out on you is not the best option.

-opponent is tight and the board is right you can maximize value by reraising on flop instead of letting a scare card come and killing youre action.

POint: Sometimes giving a free card is not even necessary when you can get all of his money in on the flop at 25nl.

As played in this hand with absolutely no information on opponent and not a scary board its played fine.

Also, dont you have some sort of read/ statistic with that poker ace hud that I bought for you?..

it's so unbelievably transparent and any halfway decent player can see right through it. You're also letting a bunch of cards come that often kill your hand or your action.

    Use a converter.

Anyways, hand #1 I agree with Lukie, its a transparent line. I like to play my sets fast, raising nearly all PPs cbeting most flops and playing flops where I hit a set essentially the same, I want to get money into the pot and its tough to do that without betting. In a multiway pot where I was not the PFRer on a dry board I will check sometimes to trap more dead money into the pot, but most of the times when I hit my set Im betting.

Hand #2 is an example of a hand I usually have trouble with but feel Im getting better with recently. I would raise this preflop. Postflop is where it gets a little trickier as Im really not too sure of the "correct" line. With a hand that very well could be best against a minbet I like to make a sizeable raise, but nothing huge, probably to $2. Against a reraise Ill fold, but I almost always see a fold here, and sometimes I get called by a draw that pays me off. Thinking about it though Im really not sure if that is the ideal way to play it, anybody have any input?

I agree is andy on hand two, you have position so raise on the flop and dump to a reraise. A lot of time if you raise him he will call and check the turn and you can have the option of seeing a river for pretty cheap AND have a better idea of his hand.
