Default Housey over housey for full buy in. Can i get away from this

villian is tagg regular good player. i think if i would have sat and studied the hand for another minute i could've put him on the pocket 10's, but i was pretty sure i was golden here...

I don't get away from this hand with these stacks. TT is the only hand you are worried about that beats you. Why are you playing so passively? Bet the flop! Bet the turn!

    Id lose my stack there....

You have to bet when you think your hand is good though. You wont make any money by just checking/calling your good hands.

I think you have to bet that flop, if only to take some protection against a draw.

After that, it would take some lay down at the river. Like you said yourself though, maybe there was a possibility after his 2nd re-raise (the push), particularly after his first raise at the river was a nice steady amount.

Trips are my worst losers by far. I hate trips. You tend to get action from only sets (FH). Meh, I have nothing to add, I am just bitter from a similar hand last night.

Bet flop.Push turn.Playing passively allowed him to 2-outer you.Get the money in while you are ahead on the turn not after you've been sunk.

Funny thing about this hand is I almost never slow play anymore. I knew he didnt have a diamond draw. I knew he had a semi strong hand , but would fold to a bet on the king turn, so i wanted to wait to the river to make a value bet that he could call, but it ended up biting me in the ass.

I bet the flop and the turn.

If he still sticks around til the river, which I doubt if you had shown agression, then I go broke here also.
